Racconti di luce (Tales of Light) is an event designed to illuminate places that are usually dark; a trail of light that brings together two independent creations and connects them.

E FU SUBITO LUCE (And There Was Light) is a theatrical work by Room to Play that combines reading and live painting to recount the miracle of the Nativity. ‘MAGIS’, curated by the KRASS collective, is a dance theatre composition that illustrates the wonders of the Epiphany through the body and voice.

The show is immersed in the rigid concrete of the urban setting, amid flashes of bare greenery and patches of sky; a set that welcomes the ancient themes of birth and journey and transports them into the present.

It is an event designed for citizens of all ages. Accompanied by a background of pop and rock music, it invites the audience to identify with and relive together an ancient story that never dies.

To be born, to be reborn, to see the light, to continue travelling and not to lose faith.

“RACCONTI DI LUCE” seeks to touch on the most intimate and profound meaning of the Nativity, and it does so starting from the suburbs; from those places, both physical and inner, that risk remaining hidden in darkness.

"Travellers travel, losers travel, His Holiness travels." S.

‘I saw it, I saw with my own eyes. It was there. The Star was there. It was right there, but then it fell and it did not leave me any time. I did not have time. But i saw it, it was there, it was right there, the Star was there.’ L.

‘There was a day when we lost ourselves, like losing a ring in a meadow, and there was a whole future plan that we didn't fulfil.’ D.
